The Relationship between Building Agents in the Context of Integrated Project Management: A Prospective Analysis

The increasing complexity of building projects, with high quality standards, integrated technologies and strong management restrictions, demands the intervention numerous diverse specialists. This requires an intense leadership, organization coordination effort. However, regulations, such as Spanish Law on Building Management (LOE) 38/1999, only formally consider developers, project designers, work supervisors, control entities, construction companies, owners final users agents. these categories are insufficient to represent interests all stakeholders. purpose this paper is carry out analysis agents that currently part entire process. If their relationship influence dependence, well alignment overall objectives studied, potential convergences, divergences, agreements disagreements can be established.
